A bond forged by fire is never broken. Ladder 49 is about the people who make a living from saving people’s lives, and among those people is the character played by John Travolta. The movie gets its name from the name of a truck with a ladder that is featured in the film. The film shows the life of firefighters as emergency responders, trying to understand what sort of relationships they have and the courage involved in their work. However the movie is not just about firemen but is also full of drama and interesting characters.
