Munawar Zareef - Pakistani Actor Biography

He came, saw and conquered, this was Munawar Zareef. He was not just Zareef's younger brother but also one of his biggest fans and followers. He began his showbiz career with the film Dandian in 1961. Almost 300 films are on his credit, each and every one has excellent performances and it is very hard to tell which one is better. Some prominent Pakistani movie titles include Mooj Mela, Pupli Saab, Bharia Mela, Hamrahi, Chakar Baaz, Banarsi Thug, Ishaq Deewana, Baharo Phool Barsao, Zeenath, Mastana Mahi, and Heer Ranjaha. He was awarded three times with the Nigar Award on his outstanding performance in Bharo Phool Barsao, Zeenath and Ishaq Deewana, and left us with joyous and treasurable memories.

Sahara - Movie Review

Sahara is directed by Breck Eisner, son of former Disney exucutive Michael Eisner. The star-studded cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz, William Macy and Steven Zahn. McConaughey is also the producer of the film Sahara. The movie is about master explorer Dirk Pitt who finds a fabled coin and embarks on a journey to dangerous regions in West Africa.

Tina Sani Biography

Tina Sani is a gifted artist reknowned for her rendering of Urdu ghazal in the traditional style. her music is recognized as a historical achievement and she is a national asset for Pakistan. Tina Sani received her formal training in classical music from Ustad Nizamuddin Khan of the Delhi Gharana, and later by Ustad Amrohvi. She can sing thumri, khayal, kafi and arifana kalaam styles with great ease. She also feels comfortable singing in Punjabi and Sindhi. Tina Sani artistically combines knowledge of music with her deep love and understanding of Urdu poetry, making her one of the greatest Pakistani classical singers.

Rock Band Queen Reunites

Yes, for all those rockers who didn’t know, Queen is back. They presented their returning performance in London Brixton Academy to an audience of approximately 5,000 people. After the death of Freddy Mercury, who had his roots from Pakistan, Paul Rodgers is now the new Queen vocalist. Music fans were happy with Rodgers' performance because Rodgers was not trying to be like Freddie, instead he was just doing what he does best. Queen band members were also happy with the performance and said that they are glad to be back.
