Stardom certainly came in abundance for Tom Hanks but its time. Hanks was born on July 9th 1956 in Concord, California. He lived with his father after his parents divorced. Tom Hanks had a nomadic early childhood which made him a queit and shy child. He realised that he loves acting when he began taking roles in school theatre productions. Finally, Hanks took the big step of moving to New York. After a considerable amount of early movies, he hit the big time with Sleepless In Seattle, after which he has had many successful films such as Forest Gump and Cast Away.
