Audioslave Live Concert in Cuba
Despite being named Audioslave, this band brings forth many liberties in the rock music world, including creative as well as political liberation. While at the concert Juan Cruz said that this moment represents freedom. Guitarist Tom Morello said that he felt honored that Audioslave was the first American rock band to perform in Cuba.

Destiny's Child Perform in Dubai
International pop band Destiny’s Child has definitely become international after their first performance in Dubai, proving that they can go to their fans all over the world. Kelly Rowans, Beyonce and the other singers say that they are glad to be in the city. Fans were thrilled to actually see Destiny’s Child not only performing but also visiting different places in the city.

Cher Performs at Hollywood Bowl
Nearly 18,000 fans packed the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night for what’s being called Cher’s very last performance ever. She had a lot of laughs with the crowd as she cracked some hilarious jokes, talking about other stars like Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez. After listening to her superhit songs like I’ve Got You Babe and Baby Don’t Go it’s sad to see her leaving the stage.

Mariah Carey in Tokyo
While in Tokyo, Mariah Carey presented songs from her latest album The Emancipation Of Mimi in front of a worldwide audience. There is no doubt that the diva has many Japanese fans. Mariah Carey has written the lyrics to all the songs in her latest album herself with guest appearances by superstar artists Snoop Dogg, Nelly and Twista. Singer Mariah is specially interested deepening her relationship with fans in Japan and will be touring Europe, UK and Germany next.

Tina Sani Biography
Tina Sani is a gifted artist reknowned for her rendering of Urdu ghazal in the traditional style. her music is recognized as a historical achievement and she is a national asset for Pakistan. Tina Sani received her formal training in classical music from Ustad Nizamuddin Khan of the Delhi Gharana, and later by Ustad Amrohvi. She can sing thumri, khayal, kafi and arifana kalaam styles with great ease. She also feels comfortable singing in Punjabi and Sindhi. Tina Sani artistically combines knowledge of music with her deep love and understanding of Urdu poetry, making her one of the greatest Pakistani classical singers.

Rock Band Queen Reunites
Yes, for all those rockers who didn’t know, Queen is back. They presented their returning performance in London Brixton Academy to an audience of approximately 5,000 people. After the death of Freddy Mercury, who had his roots from Pakistan, Paul Rodgers is now the new Queen vocalist. Music fans were happy with Rodgers' performance because Rodgers was not trying to be like Freddie, instead he was just doing what he does best. Queen band members were also happy with the performance and said that they are glad to be back.

U2 Still Rocking
Irish rock musicians U2 have been doing very well recently. Ever since the release of their first album "Boy" we have been hearing better and better things from these Irish lads. One of the key contributors behind the success of U2 is vocalist Bono who participates in many social causes apart from being a brilliant singer. Another vital member of the band is guitarist The Edge, who also provides back vocals and occasional lead vocals. We can expect to see a lot more of U2 in the future and hear more great music from them.

Hadiqa Qeyani Biography
Hadiqa Qeyani can definitely be rated as the most fancied Pakistani pop diva. She is the youngest sibling in her family, a family that has always given space to her to pursue her interests. As a result Hadiqa and her siblings have always been very active in the Pakistani music industry. Hadiqa Qeyani's father passed away when she was three, and after that she was brought up by her mother. Feuding gangster rappers 50 Cent and The Game have now called a truce. They said the reason for this truce is that they want to set a good example for their fans. Many people proclaim that rap music promotes messages of violence and the two stars want to remove this stigma from their music. Although this does not prove the theories about gangster rap promoting violence to be wrong, at least it will improve the relationship between these 2 rap musicians.

British Band Kasabian
British newcomers Kasabian say that the country’s music scene has become dull and that they have what it takes to give it a push forward. As you can guess these boys are full of attitude as well as energy. But holding a showcase at London’s HMV record shop, the rockers from British midlands showed that they aren’t all talk. Kasabian fans who came to this showcase performance cued for hours outside and filled every inch between the CD racks just to hear the band play three songs.

Rare New Jim Morrison Memorabilia Video Discovered
Florida historians have discovered a 40 year old film clip of a clean-cut Jim Morrison that will give fans a different view of The Doors singer. While most people recognize Jim from his wilder days as a drug-addicted rock legend who drank hard and died young, this film shows a very different side of this legendary Doors vocalist. Maybe it’s because it was made before fame became such an integral part of his life. This 16-minute black and white film shows Jim Morrison during his college days with footage of the parades and football matches that he attended.

Mehdi Hasan Music Biography
Famous Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar once said "Mehdi Hasan kay galay mein bhagwan bolta hai" (God speaks through Mehdi Hasan). Mehdi Hasan's singing career began with the ghazal Meray Khayal-0- Khwab Ki Duniya Liye Huway. His magnificent and magical masterpieces have refused to age with the passage of time. There is a long list of ghazals sung by Mehdi Hasan and picking out just one as the best is very difficult. He is one rap star with a high profile ego claiming that he is the one and the only, the most original rap artist around. Axl Rose Biography
What is the name of that rock singer who ran around in tight shorts and long red hair? Axl Rose is among the founding members of the most controversial heavy rock band of the late 80's, Guns'n'Roses. Axl Rose's real name is William Bailey and he was born on February 6th, 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana, USA. Izzy Stradlin, whose real name is Jeffrey Isbell, is also recognized as one of the founders of Guns'n'Roses. Vocalist Axl Rose who had first sung at the age of five in a church choir met guitarist Izzy Stradlin in Los Angeles in 1984. At the age of 17 Axl Rose changed his name after he found out about his real father. Other band members of Guns'n'Roses included Slash who became one of the most influential lead guitarists of his era. Guns'n'Roses have had loads of hits with various songs including Sweet Child of Mine, November Rain, Don't Cry, Garden Of Eden, and Welcome To The Jungle. Axl Rose's throat problems eventually led to the break-up of Guns'n'Roses and some members of the band are now working on other music projects but have not seen the same success that they saw in Guns'n'Roses.

Noor Jehan Biography
Malika-e-Tarranum Noor Jehan gained attention in Pakistani media at a very early age. The legendary singing queen started her career as an actress and singer and played leading roles in many famous films. Noor Jehan began to brighten the cinema screens during her childhood and dominated the world of Pakistani music with her sweet voice for over half a centure. Despite having plenty of other opportunities she dedicated herself to the Pakistani music and films industry, and worked in different languages with various poets. She became an ambassador of art for Pakistan and represented Pakistanis all over the world. Noor Jehan passed away at the age of 74 due to heart trouble, but her voice and personality continue to live on in the hearts of many loving fans.

Duran Duran Astronaut Album
British pop rock band Duran Duran became famous in the early 1980s with hit songs such as Rio, The Reflex and Is There Something I Should Know? They have now released their first studio album in 21 years. Duran Duran's album Astronaut revitalizes the synthetic pop beat of the 1980's which reflects the band's classic sound. Lead singer Simon Le Bon said that making albums has become easier for him over the years and he’s thrilled with the response that the album is getting.
